Tennessee won the second match in the series with Morehead State 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-16). While I’ll have much more later when I see the box score, there is one cool stat I can tell you off the top of my head. UT didn’t allow a single block in the match. That’s only the second time they’ve ever done that in the rally-scoring era (since 2001)!
UPDATE: Morgahn Fingall was UT’s match kills leader with 16. Breana Runnels had 12 and Lily Felts had 10. Danielle Mahaffey led the team with 5 blocks, with Natalie Hayward right behind at 4, and Fingall and Ava Bell with 3 each. Hayward had 38 assists. Madison Bryant got 16 digs up. Felts earned a double-doube with 10 digs.
Felts now has 20 career double-doubles. Only eight other Lady Vols have a bigger total than that in rally-scoring era matches.
