Tennessee falls at LSU

The Vols lost a tight four set match in Baton Rouge 25-19, 16-25, 25-21, 26-24. Bri Holmes led both teams with a UT career high 22 kills — with just three errors on 40 swings she hit .475. Kanisha Jimenez picked up a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs; she also had three blocks. Erica Treiber had eight kills, hit.462, and put back four blocks. Kelsey Bawcombe had six kills and seven digs. Lexi Dempsey had a career high 53 assists. Bridgette Villano dug up 23 balls, while Megan Hatcher added nine more.

The team out hit the Tigers and had more kills, assists, and digs. UT’s .266 hitting percentage was their third highest in a loss during the rally scoring era.
