Tennessee lost to Missouri in Columbia this afternoon 3-1 (25-17, 20-25, 25-17, 25-17). Erica Treiber, Raina Hembry, and Kanisha Jimenez had nine kills each, while Bri Holmes had eight and and Kendra Turner seven. Treiber hit .471 and had five blocks. Lexi Dempsey had 33 assists. Brooke Schumacher and Bridgette Villano had nine digs each. This was just the third four-set match in the rally scoring era where the Vols didn’t record an ace. The Tigers’ .280 hitting percentage and 77 points were the most allowed by UT this season. MU’s Alyssa Munlyn hit .714, the 12th highest average by a Tennessee opponent since 2001.
