The Lady Vols won their 2015 home opener, defeating Tennessee Tech 3-1 (25-15, 25-19, 22-25, 25-15). Kanisha Jimenez led the match with 15 kills and earned her seventh career double double with 14 digs. Bri Holmes had 13 kills and three solo blocks — only two other UT players put down more solos in a match in the rally scoring era. Raina Hembry had ten kills. Lexi Dempsey put up 45 assists, which puts her just 18 away from career #2,000. Bridgette Villano dug up 17 balls while Brooke Schumacher added in 11 more.
