Four Lady Vols have earned recognition by the conference in this year’s SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll. Congratulations to Ashley Mariani, Bridgette Villano, Lexi Dempsey, and Carly Wishlow. With four players honored, UT matches the school high for players on the list originally set in 2008-09. Only two schools placed more volleyball players on the list this year. With the seven upperclassmen named to the 2013 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll earlier this year, eleven of the sixteen players on Tennessee’s roster earned academic notice from the conference.
